dare to dream

What a fun weekend it has been! My friend Lenay came into town friday evening. We enjoyed Macaroni Grill for dinner and a brief shopping trip. Saturday morning she got dolled up and we headed for a whirlwind photo shoot at a nearby Nature Center. In about 10 minutes (and very chilly morning air) we snapped some glamour shots and then headed off to record her first demo CD! She did fantastic! You know someone is really good when they force you to experience the song rather than just hear it. That's what she does. Two of my photos (one is shown here) were printed on the CD along with her name, contact info, and the song list. This was a really big day for Nay. This is something she has wanted to do for a long time and it has been fun to watch God's hand in making her dream a reality. One thing that was fun about this weekend was rehashing memories we have made together over the past 10 years. Lenay is much better in the memory department than I, so it is always a joy to hear her tell our stories. It was so fun to share this memory with her and I can't wait to continue watching God's plans for her life unfold!

How exciting! I'm glad it was such a great time! You showed such love and vision for her by arranging for that recording. What a good friend you are! I, too, am excited to hear about what God does with it.
Hey girlie...haven't seen you or talked to you in years when we used to play softball together in the summers. Those were fun times! Now, I just finished school down at WSU and moved back here to Colby after being away for five years to work with your dad. I just passed my Medical Technolgist boards and am looking forward to a bright and promising future in the health care field. So far, everything is looking good. It's been so nice to catch up on what you've been up to the past many years with your dad and see the steps you're making with your career and your future. I must say, you've certainly done a wonderful thing in helping Lenay get on the road to achieving her dream. There's no better gift anyone can give a person than that. Take care and I'm sure I'll run into some time in future since I'm back in these parts now whenever you come to visit the big metropolis of Colby. Good luck and God bless!

howdy!
Sarah, The Lord has used you to make a dream come true for your friend. God will bless you many times over for your willingness to follow His lead. Her family didn't know the ways and means of such a step but there you were with a heart big enough to do this. Someday, when you are a mother and you see your child have the opportunities you didn't know how to make happen for them, you may know what a miracle this truly was. Thank you.
Pam
