Inspiration, redirection, and control

I have neglected my blog for awhile now. One of my dear friends has recently launched a personal blog and it inspired me. This blog was originally intended to track my jouney through library school, but I have changed it to be about whatever I feel like writing about. My friend once described herself as "opportunistic". That word has stuck with me ever since. I can be quite cautious and perfectionistic. Really, it is about being in control. Sometimes it is good to be in control (as in excercizing self control), but other times striving to be in control is the result of a lack of faith.
